Secondary focusable and uniform convergence microprism in concentrating photovoltaic module

چکیده

Low tracking accuracy of trackers, structure vibration by winds, and lens deformation temperature lead to non-vertical incident irradiation Fresnel lens, which necessitates a secondary concentrator in actual engineering application concentrating photovoltaic module. In this study, focusable uniform convergence microprism is added between solar cell improve efficiency focal spot energy uniformity. The 3D model established SolidWorks, important parameters are optimized using Zemax. Results showed that combination achieves the highest power when upper spherical diameter measures 18 mm, included angle opposite side facets equals 116°, height removed from top 0.1 length bottom reaches 2.15 mm. surface can reach 2.4932 W, representing 32.9% improvement; uniformity 0.71; module with 88 reduces 5.5 mm without microprism. Experimental results show static test generation 400-times system 34.9%, acceptance ±1.18°, loss less than 1.23% changes −20°C 20°C 50°C, maximum output totals 142.3 W.
